Heartland Embrace Inc. Board Members
Philip Thompson was raised by missionary parents in the country of Mexico. Philip graduated from Preparatoria from the Colegio Americano de Torreon in 1982 and from Freedom Christian High School in 1983. Philip served in the United States Marine Corps from 1984 to 1990. In 1993, Philip graduated from International Bible College with a Bachelors of Theology. From 1994 to 1997, Philip served as the Family Care Pastor of Destiny Church in San Antonio, Texas. In 1997 Philip and his family relocated to Waupaca where he became the Senior Pastor of Victory Church. He has his MBA in Organizational Leadership and as President of Heartland Embrace, Inc., his vision is to create an environment, both in service and excellence through organizational leadership.
Julie has lived her entire life in rural Waupaca County. Julie graduated from Manawa Little Wolf High School in 1982. In 1987 she married her husband and moved to Waupaca where they still live. From 1994-2013 Julie worked for Janssen Accounting & Tax Service in Waupaca. Over 19 years her experience grew from data entry, income tax return assembly and customer service, to investment assistant, accounting assistant, accounts payable, and processing public payrolls. From 2013 -2016 Julie worked for Culligan Water of Waupaca building relationships with customers, processing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and was the Sales Assistant. From 2016-2019 Julie worked as an in-home caregiver for Synergy Home Care Inc of Waupaca providing services that helped people remain independent and stay living in their homes. In January 2018 Julie began working for Heartland Embrace Inc working in Accounts Payable for the Representative Payee division. In April 2018 she also began learning the new Corporate Guardian division which she took over in June 2018. The end of December 2018 Julie assumed the responsibilities of Faye Crandall, the longtime Manager of Heartland Embrace Inc when Faye retired. The common thread of Julie’s work experience has been a true desire to serve and help people. Heartland Embrace provided Julie a unique opportunity to combine her professional office experience and use her heart for helping people. Patricia Dulske is a bookkeeper, mentor, mother, and grandmother. With over 30 years in ministry, she has held several leadership positions.   She was owner and operator of Faith Expressions, Christian Bookstore (7 yrs).  Administrative Assistant for the Southern Baptist Regional Director of Missions (4 yrs.) Bookkeeper for the Waupaca Pregnancy Information Center (8yrs) and Board Member and Treasurer (4 yrs). Bookkeeper for Heartland Embrace (10 yrs.)  She joined the board as Treasurer in 2020.   She is currently employed as a bookkeeper at Victory Church in Waupaca, Wisconsin and has served in various ministerial roles. (15 yrs.)   Patricia’s life experiences involved employment and volunteer work providing financial accounting and administrative assistance. She enjoys working in ministries that provide assistance to people with practical solutions to the difficulties of life and spiritual direction pointing them to Jesus to find all that He has for them.   She has been married to Dennis for 45 years and has 4 children and 10 grandchildren.
